Rendevu Zoom App
Setup Guide
Automatically create secure video meeting links for every booking—no manual work required
✨ What the Zoom App Does
When you connect your Zoom account to Rendevu, confirmed bookings automatically generate unique Zoom meeting links. These links are:
- Included in client confirmation emails
- Added to calendar invites (.ics files)
- Visible in your Rendevu dashboard
- Secure and unique for each session
Note: Please contact admin@rendevu.ca to request access to our Zoom beta testing program.
Adding the Zoom App
Step 1: Access Integration Settings
Log in to your Rendevu account at rendevu.ca/dashboard and navigate to Settings → Integrations.
Step 2: Click 'Connect Zoom'
Find the Zoom integration card and click the 'Connect Zoom' button. You'll be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.
Step 3: Authorize Rendevu
On Zoom's page, review the requested permissions and click 'Authorize'. Rendevu only requests:
- Permission to create meetings on your behalf
- Read access to your meeting settings
Step 4: Complete Setup
After authorization, you'll be redirected back to Rendevu. You'll see a success message confirming your Zoom account is connected. That's it—you're ready to go!
⏱️ Setup time: ~30 seconds
Using the Zoom App
Automatic Meeting Creation
Once connected, here's what happens automatically:
- Client books a session — They select a time and complete the booking form.
- Booking is confirmed — If payment is enabled, the booking is automatically confirmed when payment succeeds. Otherwise, you manually confirm it in your dashboard.
- Zoom meeting is created — As soon as the booking status changes to 'Confirmed', Rendevu instantly creates a unique Zoom meeting.
- Client receives meeting link — The confirmation email includes the Zoom link and a calendar invite with the link embedded.
- Join at session time — Both you and your client click the link to join the meeting.
Where to Find Meeting Links
- •Dashboard → Bookings → Click on any confirmed booking
- •Client confirmation emails (automatically sent)
- •Calendar invites (.ics files attached to emails)
💡 Pro Tip: Zoom links are only created when a booking is confirmed. With payments enabled, this happens automatically when payment succeeds. Without payments, you confirm bookings manually in your dashboard. This prevents creating unnecessary meetings for bookings that might be cancelled.
Disconnecting the Zoom App
If you need to disconnect the Zoom App from Rendevu:
Disconnect from Rendevu
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations → Click 'Disconnect Zoom'. This immediately removes the connection and revokes Rendevu's access to your Zoom account.
⚠️ Note: After disconnecting, new bookings won't automatically create Zoom meetings. Existing meetings will remain accessible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my clients see my personal Zoom account info?▼
No. Clients only receive the meeting link and meeting ID. Your email address, phone number, and other Zoom account details remain private.
Can I use other video conferencing platforms?▼
Yes! If you prefer Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or another platform, you can manually add meeting links to the 'Location' field when creating sessions. The Zoom integration is optional.
What happens to existing meetings if I disconnect Zoom?▼
Existing Zoom meetings remain active and accessible. Disconnecting only prevents new meetings from being created automatically. Your past and upcoming meetings are unaffected.
Can I customize Zoom meeting settings?▼
Meetings created by Rendevu use your default Zoom settings (waiting room, password, etc.). To change these, update your settings at zoom.us/profile/setting.
